Our story and founder
Our founder worked on Wall Street prior to tech
Al found it difficult to transition into a technical career with a non-technical background. He got expensive certifications, but that was not
enough to stand out among applicants and was not helpful at all. After becoming a PM at DocuSign, he realized that he could have benefitted from
something like Preintern
We’ve done the impossible
Building a preinternship was something that no one has attempted before. Al needed to find the most talented mentors in order to build both a
bootcamp and a nonprofit at the same time. Fortunately, many of his connections at top companies such as Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft immediately
wanted to get involved. With a dream team, Preintern swiftly went from ideation to launch
We’re now revolutionizing education!
Al is passionate about supporting ambitious technologists and getting students the jobs they deserve. By creating Preintern, he’s
developing an outstanding community where students can receive strong mentorship, build connections, and become inspired by leadership speakers
who believe in the importance of work experience
